The main goal of the MCAS is to provide students with a high-quality training in contemporary Arabic language, culture and societies. This general goal comprises the following three objectives:
1. That students attain a level in the Arabic language equivalent to the CEFR C level, both in writing and oral skills.
2. That students gain a thorough knowledge of the main features that define the contemporary Arab world through their exposure to contents related to historical, political, social, religious, cultural, and artistic topics.
3. That students develop a critical, independent and open view of the reality of Arab societies, conducive to breaking down the prejudices and stereotypes surrounding them.
