Nuria Font (PhD in Political Science, 1996) is the coordinator of PEURAG. She is professor of political science at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses on EU institutions, environmental negotiation and policy analysis. She has been visiting scholar at the European University Institute of Florence, the University of California at Berkeley, the University of California at San Diego and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has participated in several EU and national research projects on new modes of governance, environmental policy and EU institutional processes, and has published several articles, books and contributions on related topics.
Andrea Noferini (PhD in Economics and Politics, 2006) is a senior researcher at the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence MERITER of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Department of Political Sciences) and adjunct professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. To date the majority of his published research deals with European integration, decentralization and the impact of EU on member-states and Enlargement countries. His studies deals with mechanisms for participation of regional and local administrations in EU policy-making, the evaluation of public policies, territorial cooperation, cohesion policy, institutional and administrative capacity building and decentralized cooperation. Member of the International and Spanish Associations of Political Science, he teaches in different master programs as expert in multilevel governance and European integration. He has participated in several projects and studies financed by national ministries as well as European and international institutions.
